On April 15, 2026 the partners from Latvia University (Indra Odina and Tatjana Bicjutko) participated in the 84th International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia (session The Quality of Education and Future Perspectives for the Teaching Profession) with a poster on pre-service language teachers’ AI ethics and digital readiness across Latvia, Spain, and Türkiye.
The presentation sparked a particularly active and engaging discussion, with strong interest in cross-country comparisons and what they reveal about the different needs and realities of teacher education contexts.
Even more importantly, the session helped pave the way for the next phase of the project, with encouraging interest from participants in future piloting activities and collaboration.
